Considered a specialty instrument, the Bass Clarinet is rarely studied in french conservatories. The pedagogy for this instrument being practically inexistant despite a strong interest for the subject among clarinet players, I felt compelled to write a method. I was further encouraged by the frequent use of the bass clarinet in today's music. The student, future professional, independant instrumentalist, or impassioned amateur will find here, I believe, an essential foundation which will permit him to progress, and to confront the difficulties of the classical and contemporary literature. 119 pages.
