Bonna's smallest trombone case, this model is even more compact than the "Jazz Compact" (135713) and features a different design. Like other Baby cases, it features an ultra-compact frame and snug fit, with little wasted gap space between the horn and the outside walls. These cases excel at providing solid protection with their hard shells and well-placed padding. This one is designed specifically for small bore straight horns with bell sizes up to 8 inches (203 mm). The slide lays on the floor of thecase and the bell section lays on top, with a padded rigid partition separating the two. The bell flare is held in the lid with an elastic belt. There is ample space for accessories in a well-protected interior compartment inside the case. There is a detachable sheet music pouch on the outisde that can be used for accessories as well. Bonna notes that although the case has "feet," it is not designed to stand up on end. The feet are instead used to protect the zipper and corners from damage. The case includes:
• 2 backpack straps
• 1 mouthpiece pouch
• 1 pouch for 2 leadpipes
• 1 identification tag

If not in stock, this case will be made to order with delivery times usually running from three to six months from time of order. The case can be ordered in a variety of colors and materials (see swatch links above). Price shown is for a nylon covered case in a single color over a fiberglass frame. Other nylon colors can be had at no additional charge. Additional-cost options include two-tone covers, leather covers, and/or a carbon fiber frame. Carbon fiber frames reduce weight somewhat without reducing strength. Leather covers add weight and beauty.
