    Embouchure Training Device

The woodwind embouchure is formed and held by the mouth ring muscles (musculus orbicu laris oris). Woodwind players can lose sensitivity and strength during lengthy practice and playing sessions due to fatigue in their ring muscles. The consequences are a decrease in sound quality, intonation difficulties, and sometimes a painful feeling. This condition is the result of overwhelmed muscles. Since the demands on these muscles are particularly high, they should be trained specifically. The patented U-Trainer can help. Daily training strengthens your mouth ring muscles and improves your performance.

The U-Trainer is ergonomically shaped and optimally adapts to the corners of the mouth so that there is no unpleasant feeling of pressure even during more intensive training. Thanks to the O-ring technology, the resistance of the U-Trainer can be individually adjusted and the training intensity can be increased. The U-Trainer is washable, and they and their packaging is made from skin-friendly materials.

Note: This model U-Trainer (labeled "for Woodwind Players"), is identical in form and function to the brass model (item 097831). The only difference between the two products is that the brass version also includes a "U-Trainer-Point" tool that is specific to the brass embouchure. The woodwind kit costs less because it lacks this Point tool.
