This is a vintage Getzen Eterna Doc Serverensen model trumpet in very good condition. It includes a second main tuning slide which was common with this particular model. The player can choose between the .460 or .458 bore slide. The extra slide is enclosed in its original manilla envelope with Doc's instructions printed on the outisde. These horns were only made for a few years in the early 1970's, from 1972 to 1975. This one was likely made in the middle somewhere owing to its serial number. Thishorn is in great shape, let alone for one that's 50+ years old. It has no dents and no evidence of major work. There are three small dings along the bell, but other than that, it is straight. The valve work cleanly and quick, and all the tuning slides are perfect. The silver plating is fully intact (with one small exception on the 2nd valve slide), even in the high use areas around the valves and leadpipe. This horn comes with its original wood hardshell case, and two mouthpieces—a Bach Corporation 2-1/2C and a Jet-Tone Custom 3B. Also included are a lyre, a Revere "Spotlight" Harmon mute, an old stripped Bach 7C mouthpiece, a snake and a mouthpiece brush. This horn was well taken care of and would like to find its next home with someone who can appreciate a good player and curator.
