    Fun of Flying [SSSABC]

20th Century: Tonal. First published composition by the composer depicts three stages of air travel. "Avian Envy" has a light, floating melody portraying a bird, free of checking-in and other hassles. Contrabass part imitates the jet engine starting up. "La La Land" is meant to be played gently, but expressively with the 1st Flute and Contrabass sharing the melody. "Anthill Fugue" portrays the activity and sometimes chaos at an airport. Has a Klezmer feel and features the Alto Flute. Includes a few key and time signature changes. Score & parts. -AP
