In order to regulate the pitch on a brass instrument, an inter-muscular coordination of the chin, cheeks and oral ring muscle is necessary. This will center the airflow. The necessary centering increases with increasing pitch. This requires a high level of sensitivity on the part of the player to the immediately vibrating part of the oral ring muscle. The more sensitive the approach, the easier it is to react to the flowing air stream by triggering vibrations and to produce the desired tones. The U-Trainer-Point tool (included) sensitizes the approach and thus promotes the coordinated cooperation of all the attachment muscles. So everyone can increase the centering of the air flow in the mouthpiece cup and expand their range. - the manufacturer
