Romantic. An early work, and part of a grouping of five short pieces called Morceau de Fantasie (Fantasy Pieces). One of his most famous works, the the Prelude in C#m for piano is also from this group of works. This opus (opus 3 number 3) is sometimes referred to as the Melody in E.
