20th Century (1997). Composed over a period of 3 months in 3 different cities - NewYork, Boston and Jerusalem, HaGuGum is a piece of a capricious nature. ®HaGuGum¯ is not a real word, but rather a phonetic description of the piece's character. In its quiet, sentimental instants, the piece has, probably, more of a ®hagum¯ feel; in HaGuGum's energetic moments, however, its exuberant melodies, thick harmonies, broken rhythms, and erratic dynamics form a much more ®hagugugum-gugum¯-like texture. -Eldad Tsabary
