    Soliloquy

21st century. Soliloquy for Unaccompanied Bass Trombone, a fine new work by composer William Rose is dedicated to British musician Jonathan Warburton. It is a work in two movements of about 4 minutes in length.

Movement I. marked Sorrowful is slow, serious, melodic and very expressive.
Movement II. marked Agitated, in contrast, is excitingly fast, rhythmic, having large jumps in register and highly punctuated.

Soliloquy is a perfect piece to place on a recital.

The performance of the William Rose's "Soliloquy for Unaccompanied Bass Trombone" is brilliantly performed by bass trombone virtuoso Jonathan Warburthon. - the publisher
