    Innovative hardshell case for cut-bell tenor trombones is in the shape of a violin case. The bell flare stores under cover in the lower bout part of the case while the bell section stores above it in the body. The slide stores in the lid. This is a superlightweight fiberglass hardshell case providing good protection for cut bell instruments. The fit is quite snug, especially for the slide, so be prepared, but it does work well. In the factory images is a Thein trombone. We tested this case with a Courtois AC551 Creation New York (with Hagmann valve) and found it tight but acceptable. The case includes a good number of padded blocks and pillows that can be endlessly adjusted to fit your specific horn. The case's compact size and distinctive shape make it ideal as a carry-on when traveling (don't check as luggage). Primary Features:

    •  Top 1 - Use the velcro flap to hold the bow end of the trombone slide in place.
    •  Top 2 - In the case of short slides, place a cushion in the gap.
    •  Top 3 - Be sure to insert the slide tenon into the red pocket.
    •  Top 4 - Use the cloth to cover the trombone before closing the lid.
    •  Middle 1 - For the bell connector, set snugly against the L-shaped part.
    •  Middle 2 - Set another cushion sungly against the bell brace.
    •  Middle 3 - Store the bell flare under the cover.
