Contrapunctus 13-2 for Harpsichord Duo (Hornek) [210.11 or 211.01]

Baroque. This work is sometimes included as a part of Bach's final opus, the "Art of the Fugue," a collection of Contrapuncti and Canons. However, it doesn't logically fit Bach's carefully constructed cycle of fugues1. The original work, correctly entitled "Contrapunctus 13 Rectus, Alio Modo Fuga a 2 Clavier," is an arrangement by Bach himself of Contrapunctus 13-2 for two harpsichords. (Note: this publication indicates the title as "Contrapunctus 18." This we believe to be an error.) The trombone part is labeled for euphonium, but is absolutely performable upon trombone. As performed by the Harmonic Brass of Munich, Germany.
