Trumpet Practice Mute System w/ST9 Module
The Yamaha Silent Brass System allows you to play your instrument without disturbing those around you. The system includes a set of mini-headphones, a model ST9 "Personal Studio" amplifier module, and an excellent practice mute (which by itself, is one of the best practice mutes available). The player plugs the mute and the headphones into the module and then plays. A tiny microphone in the mute picks up the player's own sound and sends it to the amplifier where it is "filled in" and sent to the headphones. This second generation system features the compact ST9 module, which has jacks for Headphones, Practice Mute and Aux-In. The Aux-In jack can be used to connect a CD player, computer or other source so that you can play along. There is a three-position switch for Off/On/Echo, and an additional switch for adjusting the input level to Low or High. The units operates on a standard 9 volt battery (included). For more options, the ST7 module is available separately (see item 38548).
