Pro-tec's lightweight Pro-Pac hard cases hold any model of tenor or bass trombone, regardless of valve or wrap. These cases are constructed of hard plastic and wood with a rugged zipper & snap enclosure and covered with heavy nylon fabric. An adjustable shoulder strap allows easy over-the-shoulder carrying (backpack straps are available - sold separately). The case has 2 mouthpiece holders, an internal storage bin for small accessories and a large outside pocket for holding larger accessories such as a fold-up music stand. Propacs offer the security of a traditional hard case with the convenience of a gig bag. The tenor case (pictured) fits any brand or model of tenor trombone - small, medium or large - with any combination of valve or F attachment. The slide is stored in the main compartment behind the bell section. A special, more narrow version of the tenor case (order no 40881) is designed for horns without F attachments. The bass case fits any bass trombone, including those with a large (10.5") bell. It features an adjustable pad that allows a good snug fit for all varieties of valve wraps. The bass case also differs from the tenor in that the slide is stored in the lid, rather than in the base.
