Hickey's Music Center offers a simple, economical monthly rental plan for a variety of band and orchestra instruments. This plan offers low automated payments with no large up-front obligation. - Economical when compared to outright purchase—most instruments rent for only $12.95 per month.*
- Economical when compared to other rental plans, including online rentals.
- Limits your cost while you see if your child will stay in the program.
- These instruments are either new, like-new or well-maintained used instruments. All are in good repair and playing condition.
- All of our instruments are approved for use in school programs by local school music teachers (unlike many department store and internet instruments).
- 100% of your rental (payment less tax and any POM warranty) can be applied towards the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of a new instrument from our stock at any time during the rental or within 30 days of its end.
- Payments are cumulative—the longer you rent the more credit you have for purchase.
- You are never obligated to purchase any instrument—you may rent indefinitely.
- You can return the instrument at any time (however there is no refund for unused rental time).
- Exchanges are free for string instruments moving from one size to another.
- Auto-debit payment system helps avoid late payments and the need to send payments through the mail.
