The Eastern Trombone Workshop has become one of the largest annual events for our instrument and regularly hosts participants from throughout the world. It is held at Brucker Hall, The United States Army Band's state of the art rehearsal and training complex located at Fort Myer, Virginia, just across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C. There are no Workshop registration fees, and all events are free and open to the public. Activities include concerts, master classes, recitals, scholarly lectures, and clinics by leading guest artists. The Workshop annually features premier performances of numerous new compositions and arrangements for tenor and bass trombones. Jazz Night highlights The Army Blues big band and the workshop's annual Jazz trombone headliner. The Grand Concert features The United States Army Band with guest soloists.
The ETW is designed to be of interest for trombonists from high school age to professionals, for active players, conductors, observers, teachers, and especially arrangers and composers. For more information please visit the ETW homepage (opens in a new browser window).

We bring all the music, CDs and accessories you see in our catalog, plus lots of other goodies that are not listed or shown online. The ETW is truly a fantastic opportunity to get to hear the world's top players, play horns from all the great makers and browse music and accessories you will never see in your local store (unless you live in Ithaca, New York of course!)
