Cronkhite's trombone bags provide convenient carrying and storage of your instrument, with better protection than most soft bags. The slide is inserted into a board-reinforced carrier and placed inside the main compartment alongside the bell section. A special adjustable pillow allows perfect placement of the carrier with the bell. A padded kit pouch is included for small accessories such as mouthpieces, spray bottles and lubricants. There are two permanantly attached shoulder straps on the exterior of the bag which allow it to be carried traditionally "over-the-shoulder" or "backpack" style. Can be used with any model tenor or bass tromobne (except basses with 10.5" bell or larger). The open design of the bag allows use with any f-attachment wrap or valve configuration (including Thayers, Lindberg, Greenhoe, Hagman, etc.). Cronkhite's exclusive double bags come in two sizes - Regular and XL. The Regular size will accomodate any two tenor trombones. The XL model will fit a tenor and bass. Which Size Should I Buy?

• SMALL - These fit any small or medium bore tenor trombone with or without a trigger (up to 8" bell diameter). Examples include Bach models 6 thru 36, Conn 4H, 14H, 78H, 100H, Benge 170, King 2B, 3B.
• MEDIUM - These bags are best for use with large bore (symphonic) tenor trombones (Bach 42, Conn 88H, Holton TR-185, etc). They will accomodate all models of valve and styles of wrap. They can also be used to carry small and medium bore trombones, but be aware that these horns will fit a little more loosely than a big tenor. If you need one bag that you can use interchangably for either your small and large tenor, this is the one to get.
• DOUBLE - The double bag is a modified G bag designed to fit two tenor trombones of any combination (small, medium or large bore). This bag is NOT designed to carry a bass trombone. They will accomodate all models of valve and styles of wrap. The bell sections are stored with the bell flares at each end of the bag, with the slides carried together in a single slide holder placed between the bells. A kit pouch is provided just as in the G bag.
• DOUBLE XL Similar to the Regular Double bag, but larger to fit a tenor and bass combination (max 10" bell).
• LARGE - Bass trombone. All basses with up to 10" bells will fit in these bags readily. Cronkhite's bass trombone bags have a specially modified shape to accomodate finger trigger paddles. Some 10.5" bell models may fit, but are not recommended for use with this bag. Instead, we recommend using only Reunion Blues "O" Series bags for horns that have a 10.5" bell.
