Bass Trombone Practice Mute System
For bass trombone. NEW e-Brass is the complete portable and soundproof system, and the most innovative product for brass instruments from BEST BRASS. In silent practice, others will hear a sound like talking in whispers while inside the earphones the sound is rich and full - you'll think you are standing on a concert hall stage.
The e-Brass whisper system lets you play your horn anywhere you want, anytime you want, and with just the kind of ambiance desired. You can mix the sounds of a CD player or other audio device, and output your playing into a recorder, or amp with speakers. You don't need to search for a special practice room anymore.
Created by designer Shinji Hamanaga, the NEW e-Brass whisper system has none of that stuffy restricted feeling of conventional practice mutes. It blows so close to a natural open horn sound that you simply won't believe it until you actually experience it for yourself. Play high or low, loud or soft, and your pitch will remain true and centered. A special microphone inside the mute relays your sound to the personal studio.
This new, second generation system is smaller, lighter and more portable, and the sound has been greatly improved. The new module has a metronome function with light emitting diode, a volume knob and an echo switch, eliminating unneeded extra features and making it even more affordable. The player can play along with their favorite song in practice and performance settings and put the fun back in their practice sessions.

Yamaha Silent Brass SB59
Trombone Practice Mute System w/ST9 Module
For tenor or bass trombone. The Yamaha Silent Brass System allows the performer to play their instrument without disturbing those around them. The system includes a set of mini-headphones, a model ST9 "Personal Studio" amplifier module, and an excellentpractice mute (which by itself, is one of the best practice mutes available). The player plugs the mute and the headphones into the module and then plays. A tiny microphone in the mute picks up the player's own sound and sends it to the amplifier where it is "filled in" and sent to the headphones. This second generation system features the compact ST9 module, which has jacks for Headphones, Practice Mute and Aux-In. The Aux-In jack can be used to connect a CD player, computer or other source so that you can play along. There is a three-position switch for Off/On/Echo, and an additional switch for adjusting the input level to Low or High. The units operates on a standard 9 volt battery (included).
