    Shifting Meter Studies

Collection of 19 etudes that address both bass trombone valving and syncopation. To some, the title of the book implies mixed meter etudes, but in reality the focus is more on displacement of the beat, syncopation and blurring of barlines. They are exceptionally effective at rhythmic training. Range is appropriate for bass trombone or tuba. -cdp
